Charlie Hanger, former Sheriff of Noble County, endorses Rob Davis

Perry, Okla. - Charlie Hanger, former Noble County Sheriff and former OHP trooper, who arrested Timothy McVeigh, has offered his full support and endorsement of Rob Davis in his candidacy for District Judge of the 8th Judicial District. 

“I am offering my full support and endorsement for Rob Davis in his candidacy for District Judge of Kay and Noble Counties. Throughout my many years in law enforcement, I have learned to recognize qualities that make good leaders. I have worked with and known Rob for over seven years, and I am confident that Rob’s combination of preparedness, knowledge, and integrity make him the right man for the job. Rob is a proven public servant who has dedicated his career to helping others in the community, and he has a clear plan to make our court system more efficient.”

Davis is currently serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the 8th Judicial District, which is comprised of Kay and Noble Counties. Davis said he was very honored to earn Hanger’s endorsement.

“I am humbled to earn the endorsement of Charlie Hanger. He has a long career of public service and I truly respect his lifelong commitment to his community. I am very thankful for his vote of confidence in my candidacy for District Judge” Davis said.

Davis is focused on bringing efficiency and transparency to the courtroom while maintaining integrity, respect for all people, and a heart for public service. 

Rob Davis and attorney Scott Loftis are in the race for the position of District Judge of the 8th Judicial District after defeating incumbent Judge Lee Turner in the June primary. Davis received the most votes with 3,663, while Loftis finished second with 3,287. Voting for the Davis and Loftis runoff will take place on November 3, 2026.
