The Honorable Jennifer Brock, former Special Judge, endorses Rob Davis
The Honorable Jennifer Brock, former Special Judge of Kay and Noble Counties has chosen to officially endorse Rob Davis in his candidacy for District Judge of the 8th Judicial District.
Her endorsement is below:
“After only six years in private practice, I was given the great honor of being appointed Special District Judge for the 8th Judicial District by then-District Judge Philip Ross. During my nine years as Special District Judge, I was assigned to numerous dockets covering virtually every area of law, including family, civil, criminal, deprived, and, most importantly, specialty courts.
With only six years of private practice behind me, I had limited experience when I took the bench. Judge Ross made it clear, however, that if I kept an open mind and was willing to put in the work, I would learn what I needed to know on the job. His confidence in me gave me the opportunity to grow into the role.
Just as Judge Ross had confidence in me, I have confidence that Rob Davis will approach the role of District Judge with that same open mind, dedication, and willingness to learn. I have had the opportunity to observe Rob’s courtroom presence and his approach to difficult cases. Each time he appeared before me, Rob was professional, prepared, and courteous to opposing counsel and court staff. Those qualities—professionalism, preparation, courtesy, and an open mind—are essential characteristics of an effective judge.”
